I have been learning Italian from a variety of Course books and CDs for some time. When on holiday on Lake Como, Italy, July 2014, I asked our English Ingham's courier what Course he had been recommended to study. The reply was -Michel Thomas.I read various reports on his teaching and decided to try it, His methods are very different to any other I tried and I have been VERY impressed.I have since heard from a friend that the Michel Thomas Perfect Italian is a must to complete the Grammar teaching.The Vocabulary Course is also very useful.Well worth the money I paid for the Total Course- but not the published price..

Great fun to learn some Italian using Michel Thomas CDs

Great fun to learn some Italian using Michel Thomas CDs. I never find learning a foreign language easy but I've been surprised at how much I've picked up already. The approach is very relaxed but very structured and it's good to have to company of two students on the CDs who don't always get it right!

Brilliant, easy to absorb (so far...!) Repetition helps on this course, and the way he has structured the phrases in stages is excellent.
