5Fun & light-hearted
By A customer
My daughter is two, and she really enjoyed this book. Did she understand it? Perhaps not; but she loved all the animals, especially Share the Lion. Cheerful illustrations, and yet underneath it all an important message. This book fills a tremendous gap in our children's literature in that it is a fun and light-hearted look at the ways in which we understand or misunderstand both people and events. For conscientous parents who are neither moralistic nor trendy. This charming book deals with problem solving in an innovative way.

5The Virtue of Reflection
By A Customer
One could describe this very simple tale of a lion frightened by his own reflection as a fable about perceiving and getting past self-imposed limitations. To do so would be to flatten with clumsy modern idiom what the story does so much more vividly in the limpid, uncluttered prose of Idries Shah's storytelling.Whether heard at the age of three or read at the age of sixty-three, the story delights and entertains while offering a subtle sort of timed-release nutrition that needn't run out. What it has is, in the literal sense of the word.......charm.

5Charming and a charm.
By T.C.
The Lion Who Saw Himself in The Water. This charming tale, is for all ages. Impossible to consign only to the purview of two to seven years olds,A butterfly whispers in the ear of a thirsty lion, while the other animals in the jungle look on and the lion sees that what is frightening him, is merely a reflection, and a reflection of himself at that. One may wonder about mirrors and reflections and the symbolism of butterflies but if you are five years old, you will fall in love with this tale and the colours and the drawings and that will be enough.
